The Sweetwater Jaycees

The Sweetwater Jaycees were established in 1940 by a group of men wanting to be involved in their community. Over the course of several years the Sweetwater Jaycees have been involved in numerous community activities that have benefited Sweetwater tremendously. The Sweetwater Jaycees are most recognized for the World's Largest Rattlesnake Roundup, however that is not all the Sweetwater Jaycees are involved in.

The Jaycees are a leadership training organization made up of young men and women between the ages of 21-39, once a memberof the Sweetwater Jaycees reaches the age of 40, he or she will then be part of the Sweetwater Jaycee Roosters.

The Sweetwater Jaycees are one of the leading chapters in Texas.

Several Projects are held through out the year to benefit the Sweetwater community. You can count on the Sweetwater Jaycees to play a part in the Sweetwater community. These are just a few of the projects that are held consistently throughout the year.
