Event-Filled

Make sure that you don't miss out on the numerous vendors located at both in the inside and outside flea markets, carnival, and The Gun, Knife and Coin show being offered as well. Our community tries to offer something for everyone this weekend. THE SWEETWATER JAYCEES ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PARKING IN THE AREA THAT YOU HAVE TO PAY TO PARK

This year marks the 23rd year of our Rattlesnake Round-Up Cook-Off located at the Newman Park grounds with judging being held Saturday March 12, 2011 beginning at noon. The Girl Scouts will also have their salsa and dessert contest in conjunction with the cook-off. We always welcome volunteers to judge (and you get to taste some really great food).

Sunday will mark the return of an old favorite, the Jaycee beard contest. Please help us celebrate this new old event directly after the Rattlesnake eating contest at 2:00 p.m. Hopefully, this list will offer something to pique everyone's curiosity and interest in coming back for another visit, so that you can see why they say "Life is Sweet in Sweetwater."
